Gina Leal, Massage Therapist, B.A.
Gina is a Registered Massage Therapist from Toronto, Ontario with previous experience in a clinical practice. Gina treats various conditions including the prevention and treatment of repetitive strain injuries and sports injuries, neurological conditions and nerve impingement, chronic muscle tightness and spasms, arthritis and tendonitis, palliative conditions, fibromyalgia and other chronic pain disorders.

Gina successfully completed a rigorous 2 year course of 2200 hours of training and completed extensive licensing exams before obtaining her degree as a Registered Massage Therapist. Massage Therapy in Ontario is a regulated health care profession. A Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario under the Regulated Health Professions Act and Massage Therapy Act. Registered Massage Therapists have thorough training in health sciences, specifically anatomy, physiology, and neurology. Registered Massage Therapists also have extensive knowledge in orthopedic assessment and are trained in treating and preventing musculo-skeletal conditions that may put the therapist in the role of a health care educator.
Only a licensed massage therapist who has completed a minimum of 2200 hours of training and successfully passed licensing exams may use the following titles in Ontario:
